About the author: Dana Yost was an award-winning daily newspaper journalist for 29 years. Since 2008, he has had nine books published, with Free-Fall his ninth. He is a three-time Pushcart Prize nominee. Yost primarily worked at daily papers in Marshall, Minnesota, and Willmar, Minnesota. Yost received a bachelor’s degree in creative writing/literature from Southwest Minnesota State University. He served on the Minnesota Associated Press Association board of directors and serves on the South Dakota State Poetry Society board and was previously its president.
