About the author: William Anderson has spent many years researching and writing about the people and places of the “Little House” books. He has been active in the preservation of the Ingalls-Wilder sites in De Smet and Mansfield. In addition to writing the “Laura Ingalls Wilder Family Series”, he is author of A Little House Sampler, Laura Ingalls Wilder Country, Laura Ingalls Wilder A Biography, and A Little House Reader. He has also written about a variety of topics in such magazines as The Saturday Evening Post, American History Illustrated, The Horn Book, The Christian Science Monitor and other.
