Richard P. Holm, M.D., is a physician and writer who contributed the essays in The Picture of Health: A View from the Prairie. His writing explores the connections between health, well-being, and the natural world, often reflecting on life in the prairie and the rhythms of rural living. Judith R. Peterson, M.D. is also a physician and the photographer for the book. Her work captures the beauty and subtlety of the prairie landscape.
