Bum Mobile Ornament
- The Bum Mobile is one of the best-known elements of SDSU Hobo Day and has led the Hobo Day Parade since 1938. The 1912 Model-T Ford was donated by Joe Weigel, a farmer from Flandreau, SD. The Bum mobile is now displayed in the Hobo Day Gallery, a Hobo Day showcase room in the SDSU Student Union. The Model T has shepherded homecoming grand poobas, parade grand marshals and even a U.S. president.
Our ornament is based on a composite of 1950's era images from the museums large photo archive.
Created exclusively for the South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum.
This is the second ornament in the series.
Made in the USA.. Measures: 3.25" x 2.25 x .75". Gift boxed.
