McCrory Gardens Christmas Tree Ornament: The Cottage Garden.
This ornament was created to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of SDSU McCrory Gardens. The cottage originally served as a gas station, in Lake Preston, SD.
Donated to the Gardens by Jerry Brown, the cottage and garden was refurbished by the Brookings Area Master Gardeners with a white picket fence, doors, windows and flowers.

Brass Campanile Ornament Brass Campanile Ornament

The design for the Campanile Ornament is taken from the 1931 Jackrabbit yearbook. The four corners of the frame are the architectural details that grace the window above the entrance to Lincoln Music Hall.

Created exclusively for the South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum.
This is the first in the series of SDSU Brass ornaments.

Our newest ornament, and the fourth in the series of SDSU ornaments, is a tribute to our building.
For over a century, the Stock Judging Pavilion has been a place where students forged new careers, FFA members judged livestock, and community members learned about agriculture.

The Stock Judging Pavilion ornament is exclusively made for the South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum. Made in the USA. Measures 4" x 2.5" Gift boxed

BumMobile Ornament BumMobile Ornament

The Bum Mobile is one of the best-known elements of SDSU Hobo Day and has led the Hobo Day Parade since 1938. The 1912 Model-T Ford was donated by Joe Weigel, a farmer from Flandreau, SD. The Bummobile is now displayed in the Hobo Day Gallery, a Hobo Day showcase room in the SDSU Student Union. The Model T has shepherded homecoming grand poobas, parade grand marshals and even a U.S. president.
Our ornament is based on a composite of 1950s era images from the museums large photo archive.
Created exclusively for the South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum.
This is the second ornament in the series.

Coolidge Sylvan Theatre Ornament Coolidge Sylvan Theatre Ornament

Providing a restful, green haven for students since its dedication by President Calvin Coolidge and his wife in September 1927, the Coolidge Sylvan Theatre was the dream of students and faculty, particularly Ada Caldwell, State College art educator, who wished to provide a natural setting for student activities. Over the years such diverse activities as the May Pole Fete, rock concerts, graduations, convocations, SDSU Presidential Inaugurations, and Hobo Day's Kangaroo Court have taken place with the embrace of the amphitheater.

The Coolidge Sylvan Theatre ornament was created from images in the museum's vast photo archive and is the third SDSU ornament in the series.
